puppy eye - please help top urgent - Page 1

hi all,

appreciate if anyone could help me with my puppy female 8 weeks old she had an accident while they playing with the other puppies

and i took the pup to the vet as soon as i can the vet gave me some eye drops for cornea and antibiotics tablets and ask to see her within 2 days but the

eye dosent responding i visisted the vet now 3 times in one week but the case still same without improvement please look and advise what to do to save her before she lose her eye please share your experience.

Do what the vet instructed. The eye may or may not be good. What did the vet say? Is the cornea damaged? If you need a second opinion, go to another vet. No one here can look at a picture and make a diagnosis.

I would go to a veterinary opthalmologist. That eye is likely beyond the scope of the regular vet. You MUST hurry to a more qualified vet; there is nothing a message board can do to help.

Poor puppy, where are you located? Do you have access to another vet? How about a human eye doctor? I think this pup will lose his eye if it is not showing improvement soon....I would try to get another doctor to see him. Is there any pus or secretions coming from the eye? If there is, I would go to the pharmacy & get some sterile saline solution, like you would use for contact lenses, & use that to gently cleanse the eye each day before you put the drops in. But best of all, get this pup to another vet or doctor.

I would be interested to hear how this puppy's eye is doing, have you taken him to a specialist?
