Susie, i really appreciate it, and you jenni78. teva was no low grade girl. your a idiot, gee you must be one of those breeder only you have the best,  most show people are nothing but snobs, along with some breeders.. LOW GRADE WOULD BE A PUPPY MILL DOG that she is not  she is out of Xenox out of frankengold a drop dead stud / show dog. Regardless if i showed her, or she has a gentic elbow, she is still a good dog. YES i paid a Heck of a lot of money on a dog i cant use, But it doesnt mean i should  kill her like she never was here.. She is a very loving dog and a great dog with puppies. She  can just be an adopted mommy. / step mommy... Walk a Mile in Someone else's Shoes before you Run Your Mouth about  someone else.

I submitted a Grade 1 OFA to the SV after the dogs breeder said not a big deal my xrays were not correct . I said fine I will send to the SV just to see I had no plans on breeding after grade 1. Didnt replace the dog anyway LOL/.  SEVERE from the SV. SV very very hard on elbows. Shouldnt breed dogs if their joints dont pass period.

JJ Shepherds,

I am sorry you are having problems with your female. However, just because she is bred "well", does not mean that she should be bred. Many more factors other than pedigree need to be taken into consideration when deciding whether or not to breed. Low grades does not necessarily mean a puppy mill dog, like someone has mentioned, you could breed the best to the best and still get low grade hips/elbows. As far as the comment directed towards Jenni78, I think that is unfair of you to say. I do not believe she is an idiot, nor being a snob.

It is good to hear that you are taking the responsible choice and having her spayed, it sounds like you have a nice family dog to love for years to come.

Good Luck!

There is a process to fix UAP without pins.  It works well and I did Schutzhund with a female who had them repaired.

Still not usable for breeding but it does repair them as close to perfect as can be and the dog lives a healthy life afterwards.  Well worth the money I thought (it wasn't cheap).
