Hi,
I had purchased a female GSD from Klaus Rempis-owner of the Florida Dog Academy in Palm City Florida.This person is a scam artist he will take your money and refuse to send any paperwork for the dog.Klaus Rempis has lied and said that he was the owner of our female and that he was having her paperwork transferred in my name with the SV in Germany.I found out that was a lie when I contacted the SV in Germany,Klaus is not the owner and our female was never transferred into my name as well.Please be aware of this person,he will give you the run around and tell you that the dog is being registered in Germany,but that is not true.Please Do Not buy any dogs from this man!!!!

He has done the same thing to several of our clients.
The last one (just recently) we were able to pressure him into giving up the dogs papers. We have not yet been able to get him to provide a Bescheinigung Contact Sabine at the SV. akc@schaeferhunde.de
At one point she offered to conact him on our clients behalf and we sent her his name,business name and contact information. If they see that he has not changed his ways, they may decide to pursue the matter.

I'm so glad that you responded but what can we do exactly with him because I have contacted Sabine Leib in Germany and she said that the female that we purcased from Klaus is already registered under another person here in the States and that we should try to contact klaus,but now all of a sudden he will no longer answer the phone and the last time we did speak with him he said that he needs to contact the owner of Vom Hundhaus German shepherds-Donna Daley for the AKC registration papers,because she had a breeding before with the dog that we purchased from him and already my wife and I are ready to take him to court.If he did that to too many people maybe we can get together and sue him because he is really a scam.

dah obviously you did not do your homework first. Why are you coming on her now? Had you come here to the forum prior to your so called purchase we all would have informed you to look up all previous complaints on this individual and company. Too late now, Sorry.

Excuse me Nans gsd,but I don't need your sarcasm and that's right.I am coming on her because she is apart of the problem and by the way nothing is never to late.Also our lawyer is working on her too.Also,this website need people to give advise to people,not people like you,Sorry Genius.

I don't know any recent developments with FDA, but for a long time they had my dog -- my DEAD dog -- listed on their "for sale" page. Their site's changed since then, but all attempts at contact I sent asking them to remove my dog went ignored, and he remained on their "for sale" page for several years. Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone, nope.

May I recommend you also send complaint/informatives in *writing* via reg. mail or at least one that requires signature to the entities you made complaints to FCI, SV and AKC? And of course to the party at hand. Requeest a response by a certain date..give a time you will also be available by phone to reach. If the info you state is true it is a real embarrassment to those of us that pride honesty and integrity.

| You are not the first person who has complained about dealings with Florida Dog Academy. I am so sorry you are having issues with them. I don't know what else to say except I hope you can things resolved. | |

You can try to get help from the AKC. You say that your dog was used by someong here in the states so sounds like she may have been registered with AKC.
If you have any proof that you paid for her and can show identification, tattoo or microchip AKC may side with you.
They will send Klaus notice to send you your paper work or face having all transactions with them suspended.
If he does not send you the paper work they can and generally will reissue you the paper work if he is the last to have registered her in his name.
They may if he is not the last person to on her paper work help you contact her last registered owner.
Klaus may have taken her on consignment and not paid for her so does not have the papers to give to you and of course the money to pay the owners.
Post the dogs name here and any information you have about here, see if anyone knows her and can contact her other owner.

Actually the last time I had a conversation with Klaus he said the AKC registration papers were with Donna Daley owner of Vom Hundhaus German Shepherds,after I contacted Ms. Daley about the paperwork,she did say that she had all the papers on her hard drive and she would email them to me that night.The second day she said she didn't have any papers and if I wanted to get the papers I had to get them from Klaus and now everytime I try to contact Klaus he will send a text message saying that he have to contact Donna Daley about the status of the paperwork and I did not have any deal with Donna.I bought my female Shepherd from him not her but everytime he want to put her in the middle.I had no idea that he was a scam.Luckily I do have proof that I paid for her with his signatures and all his emails stating that he received the money.My problem now is that if I wanted to sell her or put her in sieger shows I can't because I do not have the original paperwork for her,the only thing I have is the health certificate that she was shipped here with her,with the microchip# and my name,which isn't enough.Also I did call AKC to see if my shepherd was registered under Klaus name and she isn't,she's not even registered under Donna Daley and everytime I try to contact the SV they tell me she's registered here in the states but they cannot say who the person is,except for me to contact Klaus.
