Hi all,
I need some advice, i am still waiting for my dog's paper work been nearly a year now, when i brought him from a breader in germany his chip did not work so had to get him re- chiped and they did this and the blood test but still no paper work what can i do?

Did you get any paperwork at all on the dog, if so what did you get. Regarding the microchip, in Germany they place the chips behind the left ear usually, so if the dog wasn't scanned there it would not have shown up.

I've seen that the European chips will read better if you run a magnet over the dog first. It works the same way as a transponder (like an iPass for tolls). The magnet activates the RF chip and then the reader picks it up right away.

I would contact Sabine at SV if the breeder told you it is being held up by SV.

im in germany, from my limited 2 dog expirence sv papers take 4-6 weeks, but then again im local to the sv
