This gorgeous black sable dog is running out of time in a high-kill shelter in LA County, CA.
We need someone who knows working dog temperament to go test him for ball drive, etc. ASAP.
If he acts like he'll work, show decent temperament, we'll pull him and transport him to Montana. I am 450 miles north (at least). Hard for me to get there in time.

Thanks, BUT which dog is it? I really do not want to look at all the dogs. Too sad and I cannot take them. And I am up to my ears in things that I must do. Have posted to the other list a comment. Will look in am for a good helpful post, please.
If my friend does go, who should be contacted???? She cannot bail him out. And both she and I do not know what to do other than if he reacts to a ball. Please, if we do this, we need more info.

This is my first experience trying to deal directly with a shelter 450 miles away. Very frustrating when the line goes dead after 20 min. on hold. Good thing I have a lot of rollover minutes!
