what are you looking for in the pup is an important question, top sport, PP, family companion or looking for stud dog /breeding female.

For me its simple if I was to get a ddr pup in USA
http://spartanville.com/intro1.htm

lwould get a pup from Puck and  Xondra
that would be my choice

He's not looking for a pup.

If you read or speak German, or care to translate, here's two pages of directories of DDR kennels (not in the USA), including owner's names, location, telephone, email, websites...

http://parchimer-land.foren-city.de/forum,13,9e01e43ce9721c821dd97ed28284fe75,-ddr-zuchstaetten-verzeichnis.html

http://parchimer-land.foren-city.de/forum,13,30,-ddr-zuchstaetten-verzeichnis.html

Many of the english speaking US kennels of these lines are too busy criticizing each other, stabbing each other's backs when they're not, or despicable for other reasons.  I find Connie of Spartanville or Julie of vomBanachK9 pleasant to deal with, and believe either would be helpfully informative.
