This lady has been a nightmare from day one. I told Bob not to sell her the dog but he was going to. I am not involved with the so called kennel or the dogs and rarely get involved in selling or buying any dogs .I do not go to dog shows or events. He could not deliver the dog due to a health issue which still prevents him from doing so. She never wanted to bother to come for the dog. We had to hire someone to try to get her the dog at the show but she was unwilling to pay for that. We were not planning to be in the area where the show was and she was not willing to pay the added expense the gas would be.After our phone call, I do not trust her to come to our house...she is not the kind of person I would want our dogs to be with. Calling every cop and animal control over nothing shows what I mean. My husband did not tell me to talk to her, I answered the phone and I was tired of her..She has been insulting my husband since the beginning so I told her our side of it but she doesn't grasp anything you tell her. I did not have the time to listen to her nasty comments. The point was it was not good for us or for our dog and we had just decided there was no hope to make a deal. We had several chances to sell this dog so the fact she was unwilling to take her money back cost him a good home. We don't want her or her money in our life but she is into causing trouble and keeping this going.I did tell her she was the B word and again calling people shows that. The lady has never been on our property or seen our dogs so calling animal control is being more than nasty. My husband did not tell me to write this and he has not seen it. May someone sell this lady a dog and may she be happy and move on...PS He was going to send her money back even though she broke the contract, but he just hadn't had the time....

383words, and the most important came at the end "but he just hadn't had the time".
Really?? Then, instead of 383 words, may be the message should be:  " Sorry we did not send yet your money back. That will be done asap". = 14 words

If you are not.following through with the.sale you should.return the.deposit. That is only fair. You shouldn't keep both the.dog and the.deposit.

by khlewis on 30 November 2012 - 16:11

And honestly if they had simply informed me that they "hadn't had the time" I would have been fine with that. Instead he hangs up on me and then his wife cusses me out.

what the breeder is doing is just dirty who cares if she is crazy or whatever she said she would still take the dog they said no so give her a refund.

I've always been ashamed of people who draw conclusions without knowing the story...To air the story is adding fuel to the fire...But since I've been called a CROOK...I think I will defend myself against someone who seems to be a CRAZY person...

Bob, if I was the seller I would be ashamed of keeping the money.
If I was the buyer I would become CRAZY to get the money back from the CROOK that was refusing to do it.
Regards,

Crook- one who swindles
Swindle- to cheat or defraud someone of money or property.

Given the situation this seems like an accurate description.

Crazy- affected with maddness, insane.

This could be accurate considering that I am fairly upset at being swindled.

So sad it has come to this point..  Qman, just give the woman her money back and count your blessings!!  Thank the good Lord you did not place none of your dogs in her care.

In her own words she wrote:

"The simple answer is that my husband is deployed and I work full time as well as having the dogs. Bob was told all of this from the very beginning and that a 12 hour round trip drive was just not possible for me at this time. We came to an agreement on delivery before the deposit was sent"

Seems to me, that if she is that busy that she can not find the time on her day off to make that trip and take care of her dogs she presently owns, she probably doesn't need another dog.  I have a job also, have several dogs, keep a clean kennel and have made trips that long.  Even though the dogs may be a little late getting fed, none of them have died from not eating at exactly the precise time for once.  This just doesn't make sense. Seems to me, this woman, just wants her cake and eat it too.  HMMMMMMM, makes you really wonder what is going on.

BOB, just give her the money back, Please ? Do yourself a favor!  Don't let this one person drag you through the mud any longer. Seems now she is just trying to play on everyone's sympathy.  FWIW, I would not allow her at my kennel either!!

by khlewis on 30 November 2012 - 17:11

This is not even about the money anymore, it's about the principle. You don't take someone's money and refuse to complete the sale.

Also, Hutchins, are you a military spouse that has gone through a deployment?? I've been through several and its no cake walk. I'm not playing on sympathies, I am presenting the case from my point of view and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Regardless of where things stand now, Bob handled this transaction very poorly because he did not communicate with me.

I have plenty of time for my dogs, and no I was not able to take the day off for a 12 plus hour drive when he offered and agreed to delivery. I am willing to do so in order to complete the transaction and bob's wife has told me I cannot have the dog even if I drive all the way to them.

by destiny4u on 30 November 2012 - 17:11

he dragged himself down into the mud by trying to skip town with 200 lol I would never buy a dog from him or do business with someone who does shady things like that. I dont care what the buyer does wether or not she is a good person or not the breeder is not. Who the hell does stupid things like that. They obv like her in their life since they wont let go of the money. Most normal decent breeders whould have said "here take your cash back I don't want anything to do with you and dont want to give you a dog"

HEr having time for another dog is a debate for another thread but thats no ones business right now. The fact is someone took advatange of her. Even if shes not fit for another dog that doesnt give some jerk the right to reach into her purse and take money out of it.

destin4u,,Your post above is pathetic!..totally pathetic!..and extremely speculative,,

I have known a different Bob and I will not let one random post change my impression of him and the kind generous way he helped me. Which BTW included an invitation to his home if needed ...

You should be ashamed of yourself for making such a post....

If I were Bob I would give her the money and be done with her,,I would not soon forget those who worked hard to drag your name through the mud...

I hope Bob is on the mend...
