'Wiskey' has joined our family this spring and is a wonderful companion, friend, and farm protector. He is always on the move, not so easy to get photos of him standing still! So I post for now a photo of one of his favorite games, with the water hose, until we have a more traditional photo of him for posting.

He is at 18 months age already a big, strong, brave dog and does not hesitate to confront unfamiliar visitors at our farm. As he is becoming more mature, I see him as a truly impressive GSD - formidable. He is also of course truly loyal and highly attuned to the rhythm of life on the farm.

At night, he is sleeping on the bed next to me with his head on the pillow - once the morning arrives, he does not stop moving for more than 10 seconds all day! We work every day to keep him from being too skinny but sometimes it is a losing battle, unless he is in a crate all day to keep him from burning all the calories he eats.
