Be careful of Martin Sokolovic. We bought a dog from him for $3000-00 during April 2016. We are strugglin to get our dog or money to be paid back to us. Every time he has an excuse. He scammed a lot of people. He is not ashamed to tell is to contact the Police in Slovakia because he is not afraid of him. Is he really a breeder in Slovakia? MARTIN SOKOLOVIC, MIERU 709/29, VRBOVé, SLOVAKIA REPUBLIC. He even sent us a false bank statement stating that he paid our money in our Bank but it was also fraud. Delete his name from PedigreeDatabase. Any other people who was scammed by him please send me all the information to rinagreyling123@gmail.com. I am going to open a Martin Sokolovic Scammer page on fb. He is bad for all dog breeders and give them a bad name.

This story about Martin Sokolovic is true as i am the person who was ripped off and I have found out that I am not alone. He just scammed another of over 50,000 euros. In fact you have stories dating back to 2008 about Martin Sokolovic. Johan Greyling posted his experience some time ago. Poor guy lost his business because of Martin Sokolovic. He's been doing this scam for a very long time. Unfortunately I found this out after the fact. I purchased two dogs from him, paid in full but never received them. He kept giving me stories about shipping delays that didn't really add up. I decided to search the dogs pedigrees online and discovered that they were in the US. I made contact with the new owners who put me on to the person who sold them the dogs. To date I have not received any dogs nor my money back from Martin Sokolovic.

Beware. Martin Sokolovic sold the same dog more than twice. Fortunately I have the actual dog, unfortunately the others lost several thousands of dollars.

As requested per administration aka Western Rider, further information is being provided about Martin Sokolovic. I mentioned he sold the same dog at least twice. I have the dog in question. I recently posted him as my new sire on my website. One day after posting him on my website I received a phone call from CSI Canine Consulting Group Ltd. located in St. James Trinidad asking if I had the dog Collin Purodox and I stated yes. CSI stated how they were Googling for information about the dog then went on to explain how Martin Sokolovic sold him the same dog and it was overdue to be shipped. CSI stated each time they contacted Martin about the dog he told them it was a problem with shipping not to worry. CSI stated that Martin actually sold 2 dogs to CSI and were paid in full for both and they have not received either. CSI forwarded pictures of the pedigree, dog and passport he received from Martin for the same dog I have, I did check the dogs Tattoo it matches the copy of the pedigree I have. I purchased the dog from an associate who recently purchased the dog while in the Czech Republic and he sent the original pedigree in for transfer of ownership. I hope this satisfies the administrations request of further proof.

Martin Sokolovic is still at it ripping people off in the industry. He is still currently active and currently scamming. Selling dogs off of pictures, videos, instagram, etc. Collecting money and never delivering. He is a very convincing confidence man and it seems probably the worst criminal in the dog industry. I have talked to many victims and there are many reports of his scamming people out of many thousands of dollars. There is always someone else, someone new, for him to take advantage of. His crimes are ongoing and they need to addressed and stopped somehow. He resides in Slovakia where he has a kennel. Too many people have just cut their losses. He needs to somehow be made accountable.

Well, all I can say is another American gets ripped off.  I sent good hard earned cash to Martin Sokolovic from buyadogk9.com and you know it n o dog.  It has been five months and several promises later and nothing.  I have found out buy someone who is very much in the GAME and I was informed that Martin is a scammer...So Please do not send him any money.....Buy the way their is no other side of the story because what I put down is the truth believe it or not...Any questions or comments email me at xeusteu@sbcglobal.net   Thanks

One of this people is a young gill in wheelchair how was trying to buy a service dog.

Blitzen, you are so right.  I am going to look for my female here in the States.  Atleast here I have some recourse. I agree that their are some very good breeders here in the states.  I have heard from several people that were scammed out of thousands of dollars be MARTIN SOKOLOVIC.  I hope that with these posts know one else will lose money with him. 

It is very True that Martin Sokolovic has cheated many many people in the industry, including, I am embarrassed to say, myself. It is his MO to accept payment and then never deliver dogs promised or follow through with important paperwork documents such as Pedigree transfers. I paid him for one dog plus shipping and months later he had not delivered. Every day every week new promises no excuses. I talk to many others in the industry they related the same experience some of them were cheated for much more money than I was. I had somebody actually go to his place pick up the dog and I had to pay for shipping again. Now months later I am still waiting for the pedigree transfer and each time I get nothing but excuses. We wire transferred a total of $17,000. USD to Marian Bartulak's account to purchase 4 GSD. We never received the dogs and the money was not recovered. Marian Bartaluk's account is actually a 'front' for Martin Sokolovic's fraudulant business activities.  We were taken, don't you allow yourself to be deceived by this person.
