as of 02/05/2009 i sent over a significant amount money for a couple of dogs.
It took about 6 weeks for him to send us the first dog and he arrove without his papers and export pedigree. And still to this day we have not recieved it.
Now he has over $3000.00 of my money and for awhile a different story for everyday of the week. His partner died and couldnt release the money then his dogs came down with kennel cough and he needed to spend the money on the vaccine.
I said even if you dont have the original dog that we agreed upon send me something else instead so i can work with it and try to make back some of my money... But now he stopped responding all together.. Nice guy huh....
The sad part is we have done business in the past together several times with never having a snag. Im going to the slovak nationals so maybe he will be there and we can go out for a beer to discuss. But til then i wouldnt continue to do business with him or recommend you guys the same.
On a half of a possitive note we did report him to the Slovak breed registry and fci and now they are helping us with the papers but as far as the other money i guess wil chalk it up..
so just watch out and even for the people that youve worked with

But you learn from experience last spring 2008 I was bound and determined to buy a pup from Germany as I thought all the best dogs come from there and anything over here in the USA was second fiddle.
Luckly i enlisted a person from this forum to help me. She was born in Germany so translated for me and gave me much needed great advice and watched over me so I didn't screw up.
Was dealing with a very high quality small kennel in Germany just a great breeding. As soon as the pup's were born i was told they just couldn't sell their pup's to anyone who lived outside of Germany. I was devestated but thanks to the person that helped me from this forum I was protected and didn't loose any money. A word to the wise by someone who has been thru it should be sufficient. Don't be the next person to come on this forum with a tale of woe when dealing with a breeder in Germany.

You can find any dog of any quality right here in the USA the sooner we stop using the mentality of if it,s good it has to come from Germany the better off we will be.
