Really sorry you got taken, but I must ask if you found out more about this guy before you sent him a deposit. Like where does he live? That website look very vague to me and if I were most of you on this borad I'd take a look at the photos of the dogs he says are his. Some look familar to me and I might have seen them on this board. At any rate, if you don't know where he is, you can't do much about what happened. If you do know, at least contact the local BBB and put this on the ripoff report website.

I am sorry you got taken. I don't want to be harsh but a websight named buyadog.com and does not know how to spell malinios or rottweiler should be a big red flag.....

sorry you had to learn the hard way. Like you said "live and learn"

Oh and how he uses the name Astor K9 and Eurosport K9 on his first page to win the hearts of his soon to be prey.

by Blitzen on 24 September 2007 - 18:09

Did  you also notice he says he used to work for trainers "like" Astor K9 and Eurosport K9.  I wonder how they feel about his using their name recognition to scam people.

by GoldenElk on 24 September 2007 - 18:09

On one page he says he's been breeding dogs for more than 13 years (http://web3.buyadog-k9.com/) then on another page he says he's been breeding them for 12 (http://web3.buyadog-k9.com/information_aboutus.php).When you click on the references link all it is is a collection of dog photos (most likely pilfered) with no information about who bought them and how the buyer is getting on with the dog. To top it off, the contact link has no phone nor a physical address.

All I can say is learn from this. Study this website because it is a perfect example of the kind that is disingenuous and most likely to be the bait of a scam artist.

I can't believe the way this genius spelled Malinois....

It's funny how he spelled Malinois, almost like you would pronounce it Malen-Yaa's!!! Looks like a scammer to me too!
