Fun photos! I love to see dogs playing in the snow. It takes my dog a few minutes to enjoy freezing weather, but once her feet adjust to the frozen ground she loves walking and playing in the snow.

Kitkat , I love your photos. Beautiful Shepherds! We haven't gotten any snow yet here in Va.
But the dogs seem to love being outside in the cold. I can't get them in! Last year we had plenty of snow & they LOVED it. Thanks for sharing

Yesterday I took our new puppy Tabaliah, slated to be my 'Bicycle Buddy', out for her first training lesson.....to learn about wheels and bicycle motion. Mostly I walked the bicycle. We only went about 1/2 miles, But Did You Know?...That 1/2 human miles is equal to 4 miles in Puppy Years!? (winks) Tabaliah did VERY well. MY DOGS LOVE THE SNOW AND LOVE WHEN WE GO SNOWSHOEING! They now get all excited when we get the gear out! I love that!  We are hoping to get a groomed trail in for Skijouring soon....but dang, so much snow, so danged busy!

That would be the "part Beagle" puppy ? See that her ears have come up ...

YES! Her one ear looks good.....the other..... She is now 12 weeks old and the one is still houndy (shaped).....up, but only leaning up over her head and folded. It is 'pinched' too, very closely 'shut'. Still hoping and praying they straighten out on their own.  Hoping when her head grows the ear with follow....

She has a willing personality, and is willing to learn. I should add that she no longer holds her tail so tighly sickeled! It is not set correct, but straightening out, and at least she is not always holding it like a Malamute.

I am going to give her a little more time, then update my post here. I just hope she turns out to be an 'ugly duckling'....and I say that lovingly. I like the dog, I want her to work out. The photos of her parents are LOVELY ~ her pedigree and their photos.....WHY WE BOUGHT HER! (smiles) THANKS FOR NOTICING!

With her black face it is hard to see in the photo.  But she has a nice head and face, like her mothers.

I just came in from training her while walking my bicycle.  I want her to learn where she can be and not be as the wheels turn.....MAN IT IS COLD OUT THERE.....and she LOVES it. (laughs)
