Jan,  I am so sorry you are so upset. What did I do wrong?  I am trying to learn more. I didn't bring Rex home and just disregard what you told me. I am doing exactly what you told me to do and more. Rex would not eat the Evolve dry and wasn't eating his beef either. So I came here, to the place you told me about, and asked these people different ideas as to how to manage his food. He has not peed in my house since I got him that I told you about, 3 times, until yesterday. So I wasn't having any trouble with him that I needed to call you.
Jan i'm glad you came to see Rex and us. Now you know for yourself that he is fine and well cared for. I'm glad you got to see for yourself.  And you could see how he is bonding with us.  He's on an all raw diet and I will convey that to my vet Friday. Now for all the good people that saw fit to write you and get you all upset , they might see that all I asked for was help. I see now that very few are willing to help, they just want to judge. I am not a GSD person, I have said that from the beginning but I have the courage to admit that and ask for help. Thank you, Jan    from Peggy

texaspeg its not the lack of help..it's the drama good people stay away from..you did receive advice on your post and answers/suggestions were provided...I personally think that based on the sole reason that you started posting questions and willing to do some research that alone would make you a better dog owner than most pet owners..I think you deserve credit for that...

YR i think your attachment and devotion to Rex has overshadowed basic dog ownership transition time that most dog owners and dogs go through, and i am sure it sounded worse than it really was..for petes sake she was feeding him 9 pounds of meat a day, she clearly is not neglecting him...loosing sleep and having your heart race is not good for anyone...what she did is what most of us would have done...independent research...i am sure you guys can work it out and help each other out....there was a reason you considered her as a future dog owner of Rex...

LadyFrost, yes, as you were speaking of drama, I will confess that I'm still stuck on the tragedy of being reduced to eating with foodstamps and hocking diamonds!

YR,
Sorry you are so stressed, I hope the diamond you are hocking is from that ex-fiancé, or did the bastard take it back?. Take care of your health before all else. I think Peggy and Rexy will get the hang of each other soon enough. I'm sure you'll work it out after you call her back. Your buddy Preston is hanging out in the OT. He'll cheer you up, I bet.
Take care, now.

Okay, I believe we already have 2 threads going that cover the same issues the OP has about this dog, I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread.
