This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

What the dog's pedigree does not tell you is the number of ancestors up close in his pedigree that experienced early death--usually, due to "toxic gut syndrome" (torsion at the mesenteric root)or bloat.
I live in California and can name names of breeders (who repeatedly lied to themselves--many were AKC judges) and their dogs who were rushed to veterinary clinics (especially, emergency clinics) where these poor critters presented and often died.

This dog is so over-angulated in the rear I don't see how the poor dog can move normally without dragging the hocks on the ground. Are the blue ribbons worth it?
