Apparently this may only have been a rumor. I just received this PM: "I know someone who's friend just had her female confirmed pregnant....I heard that she was bred to Negus.
So I don't know if it's true about being sterile??...."

Sorry to have perhaps damaged a well-known stud's reputation and to have violated the trust of a friend via my previous post. While the use of performance enhancing drugs (for early maturity of males in the show ring) may not pertain to Negus, this practice is rampant in Germany as its use is prevalent in human athletes world-wide.

This is a great dog with a superb motherline. I saw a son after him this fall that I really liked at a show, hope to see this son in the top in Nürnberg.

Negus is as his brother and half brothers (zamp vs R-litter Holtkamper see) has proven that they maybe are the best breeding males out of allmost the same blook. A fantastic motherline.
To my oppinion there is no one like Holkamper See / Hof / Tor in Germany today. And; incredible nice people too !!!

I really like what I see from him, we just had to say goodbye to our 12 year old male and I'm being very selective about the next puppy we get.

We have kept 3 puppies from our litter.
Carlos, Cuervo & Chulla von Huerta Hof.
They have very nice drives and SUPER character. We have very high expectations for them!!
Personally, I would breed to Negus again.
