This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

Elsadhai, Physics teaches us that the Centre of gravity of any object cannot change. Balance will change based on the position of the body in relation to the centre of gravity. If you take a pencil- put it flat on the table it is stable, put it vertical it is unstable- but the centre of gravity is the same.
The GSD is a rear drive animal. Power is generated from the rear legs and transmitted to the front. If there is no break in the topline and it is smooth the power will transmit well to the front. The other aspect is the length of the dog- if we divide the dog into three parts,at withers, and loin then these three parts must be ideally equal- if the dog is long then normally the middle part is longer. Length means energy losses.
If the dog gallops it means that the power from the rear is too much and the forearms cannot handle this. I have seen this in normally dogs with short forearms and the dog to handle the rear power tends to gallop.
However the dog can be trained not to gallop.
If the dog falls in front please be sure that it is not the handlers fault- some handlers do not move as fast as the dog and the dog strains, puts head down and tends to pull the handler. This can be easily corrected by the handler being changed or the same gentleman moving faster. Remember the leash on fast trot or walk shd only be taut- it should never pull the dog- we do not want a lose leash, just tight enough for the leash to be a straight line without any pressure on the dog.
My two cents worth........

Anu: kiwi is a good bitch she have the same problem of a over sized dog. They have the tendecy to either gallop or pace. They are capable of being fast and agile over short distace but for longer distance their mode will not economical enough.
Usally their back ligametation is not firm and transmission of the hindquarter action to the forehand-is missing. This will leads to the dog falls or lies on the forehand the centre of gravity is disturbed. And its very clear the 'Centre of Gravity'(balance movement) which plays such an important role in the assment of movement.
Regards
Elshaddai
