I fed Darwin's a few years ago.  Great customer service, they were always trying to find more affordable ways to ship the food.  It comes in a flat "brick", so it's easy to stack in the freezer.  But I haven't used them in a few years, so I don't know if anything has changed -?

I did some calculations based on weight and how much they recoment...if i purchased their product I would have to pay $452.25 a month, however if you break it down they calculated that you would only need 1 pound a day for a dog (60 pound dog- 30 pounds a month)...so I would still have to purchase dog food because my dogs won't live long on 1 pound of meat/vegetables a day....so that additional hmm..$75-$85 a month...

wow....no offence but i will stick with local butcher and although i do like that their food is organic...its not even 100% meat..

I guess its good to have options.....

I used Darwin's about 5 years ago.  It was very good quality, but expensive.

I just ordered some food from www.excelk9diet.com/home.htm  it is very similar, flat packages that stack nicely in the freezer (1 pound or 4 pound).  It is very good quality but far less expensive.

Comparing prices on the non-organic, human grade, www.darwinspet.com/darwins-raw-dog-food/  Darwin's is 2.60/lb in a 2lb bag and ExcelK9 is 1.95/lb in a 1lb bag or 1.85/lb in a 4lb bag.  Their packaging is very similar and totally convenient.
