Need Recommendations for other Databases... - Page 1

I can't even begin to calculate how long it has been that I have been using Pedigree Database as a resource. At bare minimum its been 12.5 years because that's how old my account is. I would assume longer because I know I was looking at Pedigrees before I needed to have an account myself.

I came on a couple evenings ago, in an attempt to add a dog to the registry, I fill out the information and find the "button" to click to add the dog is not working. I attempted to troubleshoot on my end to figure out what the issue could be (refresh screen, restart browser, enter info again, etc, etc), but couldn't get the software to accept my entry. I wasted alot of time attempting to figure this out.

Finally I buckled and went searching for how to send a message to an admin. That took time to hunt for.

Sent a message. Received a link from the admin.

Link is a very confusing convoluted expression of information that needs to be sent to the Admin in order to Register a Dog. The link is a very unorganized set of instructions that I think only sets me up for failure rather than success. Also stated in the instructions if I do not give the information perfectly the first time they will not register the dog and WILL NOT let me know about it. Also more time just getting wasted. I will say, if I mess up typing the information back to the Admin based on the unorganized convoluted instructions it is solely on the poor communication of those instructions. They are a hot mess.

So now 30 hours later I am still sitting here with zero replies from any of the three messages I sent, and I am wondering if I am just being ignored (because one message was me asking questions so bare minimum they should respond to that). I am not sure I need this type of unworkable psychology in my life. And when these things happen I start to ask, what are my options? What are my work arounds?

So first point of research. Reach out to the community and ask.... Are there other Databases for Dog Pedigrees? And does anyone have any recommendations for a good one?
