This weekend is the US Sieger Show. Anyone attending who can report on the event, their impressions/opinions and provide some insights?
I heard a good number of dogs failed in protection/bitework. This may point to issues with the quality of the animals, or the quality of current training doctrine... Or both.
Judging is by Herr Hohman. https://gsdcv.org.au/testimonial/harald-hohmann/ He also breeds at von Melanchthon. https://www.sv-doxs.net/zwinger/5510 He has produced a number of very good dogs and his opinions should be heeded.
Be general and only name names in a positive light. The way to grow the sport is by actually growing the number of people involved in it. Let's build some excitement...
