No I can not really find any fault with this dog. It would be hard to do that since it so basic. I would assume from the video that this dog is in BEGINNING stages of training? If so then he looks fine.

The decoy in this video does a MUCH better job than the decoy in your other videos. Again, this is such simple training scenario how can you fault the dog or the decoy

Just from watching this video and not knowing the dog. It looks like the dog lacks seriousness and could be more intense. I would say that is NOT a fault with the dog however. That looks like more of a training issue.

Nope.......no fault in the dog.

Hey.............you asked.

besides sloppy o.b. and shallow grips?

by Duderino on 19 January 2011 - 16:01

You asked for it.  Let's see, slow entries, shallow, weak grips, using feet first before he grips the suit (which usually denotes a dog that is not confident in the ability to grip).  Looks like a dog that was more "made" to grip than wants to grip.  No intensity in the entry, almost an expression of "I'm doing this because you want me to, not because I want me to".  Grips are short, even when the "decoy?" is on the ground, the dog does not fill in.  A true PPD should not turn his back on the "bad guy".  This dog lets go like he doesn't even want to be there.  Obedience in basic position is inconsistent and bad.  Just dull and slow with bad, short grips and avoidance issues before the grip.  Yechhh.  Anything else?  I could sell you a different dog if you would like?  What's a mediocre performing dog worth to a newbie after you put on your sales pitch?

More than any of us can afford. lol. To find anything good is tough, but here it goes.... He outs.... but that is because he really doesnt want to bite in the first place.

Ex freakin' Zack Lee

For the sake of education, those of you who thought the dog was without fault, what was your basis for that opinion?  What did you see?
