Xeph

My very first litter, the Bob Seger litter, turns 3 years old today.  They're adults now, and it boggles my mind

The Bob Seger litter is 3 years old today. My first litter to ever have my kennel name attached. There have been some great accomplishments in this litter, and I'm incredibly proud to have bred this crew of nine.

Happy birthday to Ouzo (Elric), Mikasa, London (Jelly), Soul Eater, John Stamos (Rook), Moto (Noco), Rory (Grisham), Striker (Devlin), and Max (Davin) An image

Great job, Xeph. They are beautiful, and it's a pleasure to see Ambreds without extreme angulation.

Thank you.

One of my biggest points of pride is that the majority of these dogs have been tested on sheep (the first six, actually). I am hoping Ouzo's owner puts at least an HT on him. She plans on getting some sheep of her own in the next year or so.

I am actively working towards a Dual Chamionship with Mikasa. She's going for her PT in September and we're trying to be prepared for her first Started legs by November. We just started working on outruns last week. The DC will take a few years to accomplish by my understanding of it. I plan on trialing on both A and C course, as well as some AHBA.

Soul Eater will get his PT for sure, and I want to try and get his C course Started title. He is likely capable of Intermediate course work, but money dictates if I can take him that far. He's my special, and I want to rank him nationally next year. In addition to that, Mikasa is my main working focus and it's more important to me that my bitch have the higher level titles. If he can title past started, I'll be ecstatic, if not, I'll work in other performance venues with him.

Stamos should get his HT PT, but that's as far as he is capable of going (which is fine).

I really want to put an HT PT on Moto, but getting in contact with his owner can be difficult. The dog is actually capable of much more and really surprised me (pleasantly) with his talent. He has come a very long way from the harsh treatment he suffered. I'm proud of him.

I'm proud of all of them. They're all great pets,'they make their owners happy, they're sound.

I'm very lucky that my first litter turned out as it did.

In another decade, when these dogs start passing away, I'm sure I'll have achieved much more with subsequent litters. But nothing will ever replace the special memories that this first litter has created for me.

They are only the beginning. But what a way to start.

Congats, Xeph!

Just wait until you become a great grandparent and you see what these "grandkids" pass on!
