Sorry. Just had to share. They were at a kids dog show and entered in costume class. She wants to be a police officer when she grows up but only if she can be a canine officer. Best yet was after the show we went to Perkins for supper and right next to our window three patrol cars surrounded a car and then they brought in a K-9 unit. The dog alerted on the guys car and she was so amazed by it all.

It is ALWAYS so cool to see kids dressed as K-9 Officers with a K-9...We ought to encourage them to be interested...
As a German Shepherd person I have always felt my main job is to be a Representative of the breed and of working dogs in general...I think kids...in particular...should be introduced to them Properly...When I hear that a child has had a bad experience with a working dog I'm very annoyed...Children need to be introduced to them correctly...
