Frankly, I don't see how anyone can NOT be happy to see a good looking dog like this guy, thriving and full of spirit and energy and life. Made me smile to see these pictures.

Many people believe it is a mistake to sell nice animals to new people...I could not disagree more. His people are the kindest, sweetest, most deserving there are. He is there very first GSD and first show dog.
They are taking him to his first show (with them) next month. They have had him since September and have been busting their butts learning and training and asking questions, taking their time with him to make sure THEY are ring ready (the dog is already ring trained and knows his job). I am SO excited for them. The stud dog owner will be at the same show and will be able to offer help.
Dutch lives with a Wolfdog (Nayeli) and a fox(!!!) named Fraya. They do lots of training and photo shoots with those animals. They also have a Shepherd mix they're doing IPO with, and Mr. Dutch will be doing some herding and other performance events.
He goes free running basically every day and is so incredibly loved.
It makes my hard so blasted happy to see how happy all of them are.

Nice happy pics. I wish them good luck with him.
Frankly, Xeph, I believe the very opposite to what you quoted there ^ - I feel sure that if the ONLY dogs (of whichever 'lines') that got sold to complete novices were the really good ones, with solid temperaments and no 'issues', there would end up being a lot less dogs passing into Rescue. However naff and unsuitable and inexperienced some beginner owners are, a decent dog of any working breed will prove more manageable for them and will teach them things they need to know in order to get the best out of it. Something a sick or nervous specimen won't do. Unfortunately there are a lot of 'breeders' out there, all over the world, who don't ensure this happens, they just want a quick sale.

This boy used to live with Moto, and he was a placid, laid back baby. My assessment of him proved to be incorrect about a year down the way and he went from a moderately active dog to one that was EXPLODING with energy and the need to DO! He ended up being way too much dog for his former family
I very luckily had a home for him within just a couple of weeks, and they couldn't be more in love with him. I certainly have no regrets.
He'll finish when he finishes, and be well loved in the meantime.

I have told it several times, but I sold a puppy to someone who had zero working dog experience, and barely any dog experience. Dog is HOT IPO3, FH1. Lives as a full-time house dog. No kennel. Has a great pet life and working life, too. They're out there. Give people a chance.
