That's a pretty poor deal. Seems to me a area that can't pull together to take care of their retirees, whether it be k9 or officers didn't really deserve them anyway. Where do we send the money?

With all due respect to the well deserving PSD, would it not make more sense to provide funds for a new PSD, as opposed to providing funds to prolong the suffering of a PSD with Cancer?
The PSD in question has served his/her time, allow him/her the dignity of a quick, painless and respectful death.
