Hello. I have a boxer that is 50 days pregnant, as of today. (10/24/14). She is nesting, giving milk, and her temp is 99.1 (checked it 2 times. 2nd time is was 99.0) her vulva is swollen a lot. And hanging down. She has a nice little nesting area, that she goes to during the night. But she also loves our bed.. I own the sire. They are both full blooded boxers. This will be her first and only littler. They tied September 2nd. But may have before, (my mom was dog sitting while me and my husband was on Vaca). But we know for sure September 2nd. Her belly has dropped and she's very bagged down. She has a cleanish discharge on her vulva. Her puppy's are constantly moving and kicking. And she has vomited. I just need advise, I'm about to worry myself to death. Thank you in advance!

Not to sure I would go by your first breeding date.  Now all the girls that I have seen whelp in the last eight months when I was  asked when they would whelp I was wrong when going by just a count, they all came 5 days early.

By the signs you have mentioned I would say she is pretty close and probably going to be early maybe by 5-6 days and again not sure that you should use the Sep 2 as your first breeding.

So are you ready and have everything set up I would  not think she has much time left

I would confine her to her whelping area now no more your bed.

Have you spoken with a vet?  I am not sure, but is nagging in the back of my mind about Boxers having issues during whelping due to the head size of puppy.

I have also known of more than a few whelps that came 5-6 days before the first definate tie.

We have everything ready. I'm just anxious and nervous... She was pacing last night. And returned to her room where she has her nest. I checked her temp today it was 99.1..
