I am wondering if anyone can tell me some lines that commonly produce problematic elbows? Thank you.

If you are in to German lines, you can look at the SV HD-Zuchtwertermittlung CD (you can also buy it as subcr.) It has over 700,000 dogs, that will give you pretty good idea what lines produce bad hips/elbow and lines that produce well. There are also dogs from other countries. The CD is updated quartely.

Hukka do you happen to have the link to that?

I was under the impression that the ZV calculated by the SV only takes hip scores into consideration, but not elbows. I may be wrong.

Maybe so spruell? The elbows are listed on the ZWCD. Think the above is link to it, I don't use that one, not complete. I do get the subscription each quarter when it is updated and that has the 700,000 + dogs in it with hip and elbow ratings, the ones that have had them rated, the subs. is more accurate.

as spruell pointed out, zw looks at hd only, see http://goo.gl/JPjzG , which allows you to search by dog name (Hundename), kennel name (Zwinger), or sv (SZ) number. you'd want the genetics cd, which has the hd and ed valuations for some 550k dogs, plus additional info. it's released quarterly. see bottom of http://goo.gl/J3cB5 .

ok, that what I get, the genetic cd and this last quarter it has 710,929 dogs. Sorry for the confusion. The cd is well worth it, you can see both hips and elbow rating.
