Dears,
Has anyone tried the MVP products for their dogs? (supplements, weight gainer, muscle builder, etc...)
Feedback is highly appreciated...

MVP is a good brand, but, not any better then many others out there. What are you trying to accomplish by feeding your dogs these supplements?

i tried MVP protein powder - weight gainer (among other supplements and protein powders in last 3 years) on my female who was 32 pounds at 20+ weeks and she could not handle it (whey protein), she had bad diarrhea.... she does great on raw (beef, lamb) and on kirkland dog food...she is still skinny...and i had to learn to live with it...so it would depend on a dog, i heard nothing but great reviews but it was not for her....she is currently 3.5 and between 57-60 pounds...

No one I know can handle straight Whey, especially if taken like its supposed to be, every 2-3 hours. It does affect your stomach in ways that are not fun. It has a very short half life and MUST be ingested frequently. There are multi species proteins that can be given every 8 hours, but, they are not designed to put weight on.
The weight gain powders out there have HUGE numbers of calories in them and I have given them to dogs that needed that kind of help before and they worked very well.

Hey Lady Frost
You should try some digestive enzymes and vitamin B-12 for your pup. Might help gain some weight. Just a thought.

Eldee, thanks, didn't think about B-12...but she does gets coconut oil and digestive enzymes along with sea weed powder....
when she was just a pup and at her worst shape I fed her cat food (which has higher protein than any dog food) and that worked but as soon as she was back on dog food she was back to her skinny self...so 3 years later I figured why fight the nature, she is full of energy, alert and can run circles around other dogs...i figured with age she will slow down (maybe)...:)
