Since the German Shepherd is not my breed, I am not very familiar with a lot of dogs and I would love to know what the more knowledgeable people think of Figo Vom Fuchsgraben. He is a Sch 3, has competed at the 2012 WUSV, has a 4th place finish and a score of 94-92-96.
I am asking because I recently purchased a puppy out of him and I wonder if any one else owns one or knows of others who may and perhaps what this dog's offspring are like or have done. Thank you to anyone who knows and takes the time to answer.

I am the owner/handler of Figo. We also have a 13 month old Figo son we are raising for IPO competition. I may be bias, but feel free to email me with any questions.
Good luck with your pup!!

We have 3 Figo sons in our club, and I also got to meet him up-close this past weekend at the WDC. Super nice dogs, all of them! I enjoyed taking some action pictures of him and his sons. I can send you some if you want.

Dawulf, I would love to see them if you can. I sent his owner an email as well. This 11 week old puppy I got out of him is fantastic, so far. He has only been here a week and his temperament is one of the best I have seen. I am curious to see what others have experienced coming out of that dog.
Tommy, I did send you an email in the address you provided, again, thanks for offering to answer some questions about your dog and his offspring.

I just sold a Figo son, he is going to be doing scent detection and patrol. He has insane food drive, awesome prey drive, his biting was amazing even at 8 weeks (full, hard, but absolutely dead calm), frustrated and barked, very very confident little guy. I know of someone else that raised and sold a Figo daughter who now does tracking to protect a nuclear plant. She has insane tracking abilities and I believe was the youngest dog certified by the company who provides and trains the K9s (a very good friend of mine prepared her and handled her for the test).

Thank you for the answers...this little puppy here has insane, border line stupid food drive, right out of the crate. He learned to bark for a toy in 2 minutes, frustrates easily and will do a nice bark for it as well as food now, of course.
His bite is exactly what you described, dead calm and full. Have not tried any tracking yet, he has only been here for less then a week. His nerves are absolutely rock solid, I tried the jar filled with loose rocks last night, did not even look at it while playing tug with me. Tried the stick, waving it over his head while playing tug, did not blink once or bother to redirect while I stroked him with it.
