Abby, by 24 hour lock down, I didn't mean she is being abused in any way. She is in a very heavy guage welded wire kennel that is on a deck, covered, chained and padlocked when I am not working with her or have her out. IF someone let her out, or the neighbors small children for whatever reason decided to let her out, there would be dire consequences. She is not a bitch to take lightly or let your guard down with. It is my job to keep her and those surrounding us safe. She comes out to play ball, works in ob and eats a mostly raw diet. I would never mistreat or abuse any of my dogs, cats etc.. I am responsible for her actions until the right person (which has already been found, btw) is willing to take on the responsibility of having her.

Melissa, I wasn't for one moment suggesting that you were abusing her. I know from your posts on here that you are a responsible person, and I pretty much got a sense of what you meant. I still feel somewhat sorry for a dog that is in a situation where it cannot be living to its fullest potential due to circumstances. I am pleased to hear that you have found the right person for her.  Would it be Paul by any chance?
