aparently in order to breed the correct way in GA at least, u have to be liscenced by department of agricultor...........interesting

If more than one litter in 12 months, yes you do.
The state people I have met are quite nice and sensible.

add.... But licensure has NOTHING to do with breeding the "RIGHT WAY."

gagsd, i get u, trust i know that.....play on words, according to department of agg ppl who sell, offer to sell or plan to sell need liscense

maybe u need to recheck, cause this dont say anything about 1 free litter per year

I assure you, it is one litter per 12 months. I just spoke to Robin Nicholson about 2 months ago.

40-13-13-.07      Exemptions.

(2)    Any person who sells only animals they have produced shall not be considered a pet dealer under this chapter unless such person:
 
  1. is licensed for an animal related business by a local government,
(b)  is subject to a Georgia sales tax number for an animal related business,
(c)  is subject to the “Bird Dealers’ Licensing Act”,
(d)  sells more than one litter in any twelve (12) month period, 
(e)  sells more than 30 adult animals in any twelve (12) month period,
(f)   produces animals that pose a public health risk or exhibit illness or disease causing chronic pain and suffering, or
  1. has been determined by the Department not to treat animals humanely or has been convicted of cruelty to animals.

can u post the link u got that from pls, thx.........i wont be breeding for YEARS if ever, but trying to stay on top of all laws, ownership/breeding/training wise. so i dont endup having to choke someone for trying to take my dogs from me ;)

also just found thats its illegal to "guard" "protection train" without being @ a registered faucility
