Anyone know how many pounds of pressure a German Shepherd Dog exerts with his jaws during a bite? I seem to remember a discussion about this some time ago....?

So... 238# ???? Any others measured? Just noticing how GSD teeth sink through skin like skin was butter when my dogs misjudge in play.....can't imagine what a serious bite would be like! And Beckett looks like he has way more muscular jaws than the GSD shown! jackie harris

Jackie: I don't know how accurate any measurements of this are, as
over the years I have seen all sorts of figures - and refutations of
figures / methods - published. Someone in a thred on here recently
quoted - I think it was - "135 psi" which seems reasonable to me, just
based on observation
and the occasional unlucky experience (!)
