My female's 20 month old son earned his CDX yesterday with scores in the high 190's. He also has good hips, normal elbows (prelims), a TD, his CGC, and has passed the GSDCA temperament test. Last year he was the best puppy in a GSDCA specialty show. I think he may be the first sired by a GSL SCH3 male to have done that. My female is an AKC CH, 1/4 GSL, AD, BH, CD, RN and the first recipient of the GSDCA's Dual Performance Award. I hope to get her CDX this year. It's been a good year!!
Thanks for letting me brag.

Mario, these are AKC obediece titles:
CD = companion dog, CDX - companion dog excellent (obedience tttles) The next level after CDX is Utility, often called "Futility' because it's so hard to obtain! In addition to retrieving over obstacles, the dog must do scent discrimination, choosing which articles were handled by its owner.
RN - rally novice (obedience title)
TD - tracking dog
CGC - canine good citizen - dog shows basic good manners on leash in public
Hopefully you know what the AD and BH are!

Well done Blitzen. Lovely feeling to achieve with your dog. Makes all the training worthwhile.

Thanks, all. I had very little to do with his accomplishments, that credit goes to his great owner. That's what it's usually all about; many of the best dogs end up untitled because no one ever tries with them. I got lucky.
I won't post photos of my female here, Hutchins. She's an AKC CH so you can probably guess why. Thanks for asking, I appreciate your interest.

Blitzen, no matter what other people think or say, she is your dog, you feed her, you clean her poop, she is your responsibility. You have her because YOU like her and you please yourself by owning her. So does it really matter what others think or say. I also had several AKC CHs. I was the breeder on a dog that went to Westiminsiter, and was an AM/Can SEL CH. Do I care what other people think about them, NO! Its their opinion VS my opinion. Neither of the opinions are right nor are they wrong. Guess I just got alittle thicker skin over all the years in the breed.
In my opinion, what the breed has changed into in other countries is DEFINITELY nothing to brag about, or no better than what is bred here in the US. So who are they to criticize the US breeders. They are just as responsible for what the breed has become as anyone else. Its just a matter of opinion, none right nor wrong!

LOL thanks Hutchins but all the photos I have of her are when she is standing in THAT show pose. You know the one, where the inner hock is resting on the ground and one is with Moses, so I think I'll just say thanks and pass on the photos
. I don't want to get banned.
