I know I've posted a similar question a few years ago, but since new dogs are constantly being imported, I figured I'd throw it out there again.

First, as a disclaimer, of course I care about character. Yes, my dogs are titled. I am posting this just to see if my dream breeding is out there. Pedigree compatibility and character I will discern for myself if any ideas are thrown at me here.

I like to find a west German or predominately west German sable stud that carries the long stock coat gene. Titled, good ZW, a1 elbows are non negotiable. DM testing is a huge plus, east of the rockies preferred, or south central Canada.   I have been looking for a while, maybe there is a gem out there I haven't stumbled across yet. Thanks!

Looking to buy a stud? or use a stud? I believe eichenluft (molly graf) owns Bomber vom Wolfsheim. Beautiful sable. Hes in the database too, check out his pedigree

1020ma, Bomber is a solid black, and I don't believe Molly Graf owns HIM!

I think your talking about bandit, bomber's brother

There's one that is East of the Rockies, VA rated, SchH3, KKl1, a1/a1, ZW in the 70's and top 25 in the world. Neg/neg for DM but he doesn't carry the longcoat gene.

By west German do you mean show lines or working lines?  I know a mostly west German/western European working lines male, very dark sable, V-rated, KKL1 (actually beat a now VA1 dog in the working dog class at a conformation show) and I believe he has produced coats.  I owned a train a son and I think there was a coat or two in the litter but I could be wrong. ZW 75, clear for DM, thyroid, etc.  "Boy von Zorra"  kulladogs.com

Bandit does not carry the long-coat gene. No idea about Bomber.
