I NEVER use puppy food...You don't want your puppy to Grow too fast...You want Large breeds to Grow slowly...
If they Grow too fast...this gives a better chance of having problems with bone structure...including Hips...Elbows...etc...

I switch after they're done teething and ears up good, that's usually 5-6 months old.

No puppy food plz! high protein content causes rapid growth due to secretion of insulin-like growth factor by liver! Its a disaster. High quality adult food with 24% protein is safe.
