welcome & thank you to rescue threads - Page 1

i really appreciatte and thank the board owners and admin for making a moral stance to re the rescue threads. i am still in disbelief of the sociopathic nature displayed by some members who find it too much of an inconnvenience just  look  past these threads if they are not interested in them, no they want them minimised or shifted from easy display in the latest posts - sickening. one could only conclude that these members with sitasmom leading the charge is that they do not want people using the pdb possibly looking for a prospect to see that they can get any number of well bred german shepherds for nothing more than an adoption fee. not to mention saving ones life. that might decrease demand for these greedy breeders looking to shift product/puppies. you have really outdone yourselves in petty, greedy, money grabbing stakes. i hope yr posts get put on sticky so evryone sees what you really are and hopefully will never buy a puppy from yr greedy asses.

also like to add thank you so much to all the rescue volunteers and workers who act in the best interest of the dogs - you are the REAL heroes of the dog world.

I'm sure many GSD lives have been saved due to this forum and a big thank you to all involved! You are my heroes too! 

I complained and I DO rescue. I can only speak for myself but I come here to GET AWAY FROM constant posting for dogs needing homes. That's all I get these days from people who want to save dogs and have had to limit fb posts for the same reason. Although you may have not liked her post, she didnt complain until an unknown came here and basically spammed the board with dogs.

I wouldn't mind and I'm sure others who rescue wouldn't either. Just one less dog to pull and dump money into.

And I agreed with Sitasmom & Baugh,  not because I don't want to
see Rescue ads but because I had questions about this particular
rash of postings.  My own Shepherds have been 'second homers',
through my work I've taken on umpteen Rescue dogs, I've been a
member / helper with various Rescue groups going back 30 years,
and as I said at the time I don't breed or sell dogs.   Nor do I believe
I have sociopathic tendencies (except perhaps toward posters  on this
database who repeatedly talk complete shite !) 

oh please, how hard is it to use the scroll function/arrow keys to go past any thread you wish not to view. are you crippled or retarded??


for the record i do not know sitasmom or anything about her operation - she may well be a much more ethical/caring person than i (personally) interpretted and extropolated from her post and i hope she is. it was a personal emotional reaction and i make no opinion about sitasmom as i do not know anything about her more than that one post.  you gotta expect such when working with doggy folks in the public domain, the pros should i would expect know that and know how to manage perceptions thru their choice of words and indeed their actions.

i do admire the stance that admin took and it makes for more faith in this board.

and once again thanks to all the rescue volunters and workers. at some point i have to get around to writing my will, got no family so whatever shit i happen to have at checkout time will prolly go to rescue somewhere.

Why yes I am crippled and retarded. And my hands are claw like and it's hard to use the scolly thing on my laptop. I'm even dumber though...... that I bothered to respond to someone who has to call people names to make a point.

seriously i have been on 4 forums in 4 years and have somehow offended someone along the way on evry one of them without even meaning to, i am not cut out for this type of social interaction - i'm done with it.

You could try sticking with it, vk, but just not throw out terms like
'sociopathic nature' willy nilly about whole swathes of ppl you
know nothing about, other than picking up what someone else
has posted about them (without knowing if it is true).  The
ability to apologise for you having interpreted why  people are posting,
rather than engage in conversation with them about what they
actually said and what you are THINKING they mean, without
chucking insults at them, might help you out a bit too - I'm still
waiting for you to say 'Sorry' ...


Edited to add:  I just re read the bit in your post about 'the pros'
should expect reactions and know how to be clearer about what they
are saying, etc.
I don't really know what you mean by 'pros' in this context - but you do
seem to be expecting more of other board posters, in re diplomacy
skills, the ability to read through & adjust what they say before they
post, and so on, than you appear to be willing to put in yourself.

Really your calling people crippled and retarded...do you really think your going to make your point? Instead I took the lighter side and made fun of it because the truth is we are all passionate about dogs whether it be a pap or a mastiff or a shepherd. You can make your point without lowering your vocabulary.
