Or maybe not so quick. And not just one. Sorry.

My 10 month old female's sire comes from Czech working lines and my girl has some pretty strong drives. Without a doubt in mind I want to get her titled, but lately I've been thinking, would it be safe/wise to pursue schutzhund training when there are children in the household? The ages of the kids are 6 and 9 and they're the kind of kids who love to run around the yard and rough-house. I was hoping for a bit of advise on this.

Second question.

A couple of days ago, I recieved the AKC 5-gen pedeigree which I originally bought because I was unable to find my female's dam's side on PDB. So when I finally recieved it, I looked up the dam(again) and her dam and sire, only to find out that their pedigrees didn't exist on the website. Wanting to complete my girl's pedigree, I went ahead and quickly filled in the blanks. Was this an okay thing to do? What if the dogs in which I made peds for have titles and I don't know? Any help would be much appreciated.

Here is my dog's pedigree:

Please excuse the photo, she was younger and it is in need of changing.

Thanks.

I do schutzhund with 3 dogs and have 6 dogs total. We have 3 young children and have no problems at all.

I have a 3 year old and do Schutzhund. Nothing wrong with filling in dog information as long as you are not falseifying information

If you have children around it is probably SAFER to properly train
your dog, even in bitework.  Because you learn better control and
to 'read' your dog's body language as part of the training process.
My only reservation would be to make sure you do it properly,
within a good club, with experienced helpers;  and do go right
through with it, to finish what you started.

PS   lots of pedigrees on PDB don't have all the titles and details
completed for dogs behind the one being registered.   As and
when you find any out, you'll be helping the process if you put
them on the board as amendments to individual pedigree pages.

If you get something wrong it will doubtless be picked up, because
the automatic stuff won't let you post it, or someone else who knows
better - other members, or Oli / the mods - will spot it eventually and
take it off again.
