Buy a dog from them then but I hope you have lots if money for vet bills and a strong heart to deal with all the health issues that will come!!!!  They have not called to see how the dog is, I've sent them videos of the dog taken less than a week ago, I've sent them X-rays I've sent them statements from the surgeon and 2 other vets that say he has ED and that nothing I did or didn't due caused this!!!!      If they had taken ANY responsibility and replaced the dog per the contract and stopped breeding his sire & dam I wouldn't have to do this but they HAVEN'T!!!  I am trying to prevent anyone else from having to deal with the heart break I have had to deal with!!!!  If I had known anyone purchased a dog from a breeder and it had these health issues (GENETIC) and the only thing the breeder did was blame the owner I would NEVER buy a dog from that breeder and it is my responsibility to warn potential buyers if they buy from this breeder and the dog is sick or genetically defective the breeder will not step up!!!!    Yes we all take a chance when we buy a dog, especially large dogs such as Gsds HOWEVER, that is why there are contracts and purchase agreements and just because they recently changed the purchase agreement on their website doesn't mean they can go back and hold people that bought dogs from them 2-4 years ago to their new purchase agreement!!!!!

Vom Ron, Please tell us who this creep is so no one else sends a dog off to suffer.
I find this very disturbing.
And there will be no takebacks from me on thos. A picture is worth a thousand words! ps I just watched the other video, that dog looks drugged in that video. The dog looks like it has meat on the bones and a shiney coay. I find it hard to believe that dog spends it life on the ground, unable to stand. The entire thing is very disturbing. Damn

no one is defending the breeder nor are they even discussing the breeder or your issue with the breeder,.
THE ONLY ISSUE AT HAND IS THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ALLOWING THAT BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL TO SUFFER HORRIBLY SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE YOUR POINT.
Do you listen to him lay there and cry in pain or do you shut him away in another room so you dont have to listen to it? If he is as bad as the videos show then put him down, be merciful. You have video evidence of his condition, Im sure you have xray evidence, there is no sense in making him continue to suffer.
What really pisses me off is that 6 months ago he was in agony, crying everytime he tried to get up or move. Now here it is 6 months later and he is still in pain??
ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME?? Why havnt you resolved his pain issues before now??
OMG at least dogs eat their young if there is something wrong with them, that is way more humane than this.
You make me sick woman and ashamed that I share the same earth with you.

You paid 900 dollars for the dog, at least that is the statement from one of the previous posts on you tube.  She said on her response that she offered full refund if you sent the dog back which you refused.  I can't make statements because I haven't seen the contract.  All I can do is ask questions.  If you get offended by questions I am sorry.  How can anyone come to an understanding if questions aren't asked.  No I am not Von Rom nor have I met them.

MellMell....what I find disgusting is the fact that about six weeks ago I saw the video of the dog in excruciating pain, prong collar on, no mat in the crate, and here you are now posting a new video six weeks later and you're only taking him to the Vet next week. Don't you think you should have had this problem taken care of a long time ago with a specialist or had the dog PTS to let him out of his misery.

Someone really should report this to animal control, I really think it is disgusting, it's downright abuse to continue to let this dog suffer. If you don't want to have this dog treated or PTS let me know I will pay for his airfare here and have him treated with a specialist and give him a life he deserves.

I believe in one post the breeder had asked you for copies of x-rays.  were these provided?  I personally would want copies of x-rays and your vets statement.  This is called proof.  Then it isn't just a matter of opinion of one person but then I can take those x-rays to my vet and have him look at them.  I'm sure you don't just kick out money because someone says you owe them but you want to make sure that not only do you owe them but also the amount is correct. I would be the same.  So I would want proof that, that is the problem which the x-rays would prove.  Your vet saying it with out an x-ray is not proof.  Its not a matter of being cynical but just knowing how things work and the nature of people.

KitKat....From what I remember the breeder did offer full refund to this person with the dog to be returned rather that giving a replacement puppy (can't say I blame her for not wanting to send a new puppy), and this person refused. I would also chip in money to get this dog away from her but I doubt that she would take the money, this is just a very vindictive person, and apparently very cold hearted when it comes to having this dog taken care of.

I rarely say anything on these he said she said things. But honestly Mellmell PLEASE put that poor dog down!  He is suffering terribly, looks drugged or whacked out due to pain. He looks injured, how he was holding his leg is NOT indicitive of elbow dysplasia.  I have handled a few with ED in my day and they are not in this kind of pain!  This dog is injured, either take him to the vet or PLEASE return him so the breeder can help him!

Don't tell me there is not something that can be done to bring relief to this poor dog..
I am glad people reap what they sow,,

I would also be willing to donate to see that he is placed in compassionate and humane care,,
ThinkingThis might need to be reported..
