Three Items of interest! JA amendment is still in place! dues increase by 100.00 for single and 150.00 for family! And usca members are still getting screwed! this time without vaseline!!!!!Oh they only had tiem to attend to business 1-3 Everything else was tabled!

Because this was the most important topic they needed to discuss?

So basicly the people who already struggle to find the extra money to be a member either have to struggle harder or not be a member. Great, I have a few people in my club that won't be able to make this. I received a letter from USA office that stated that 1/3 of my members had not renewed there memberships this year! And they want to know why we are losing members??????

one reason is the clubs that i have tried to get info on to join don't have the courtesy to return my calls or e-mails.i am a member with no club.i live between martinsville va. and roanoke va.and have sent e-mail to a number of clubs and called and left messages with NO response.a few are 3 to 4 hours away and no responses

I wish you lived closer to me, I am located in Utah. I am the secretary and I am also the club contact. I receive several calls and e-mails a week and I return all of them, I may not get back to them all the same day but I always respond. I wish you luck in finding a club to train with.

For the record dues were increased TO $100/150, not BY $100/150.

Raising our dues while I agree it was a large jump all together it has been many, many years since USCA raised rates at all. $100 for a single membership. Compare that to the WDA alternative - $68 for GSDCA + $50 for WDA = $118. See USCA wins everytime.

one is not required to be a member of GSDCA to participate in WDA. I will never consider supporting GSDCA again, unless some requirements concerning health and character are instituted.

I had hoped for different results, but it is what it is. I will not complain about it further. Regardless of organizational agendas and personal egos, I have met people in all three (UScA, WDA and even GSDCA) who I consider to be very good for the GSD.
