If it is a couple, one can belong to USCA and one to WDA (and the dogs co-owned).  No rule against that.

Wrong thread maybe? Thumbs Up

Tongue Smile Yes!  Sorry, carry on

I almost bought a puppy from him in the past but the litter didn't take, so I don't have any actual experience buying from him.  I hope this gets straightened out quick.

This lady has been a nightmare from day one. I told Bob not to sell her the dog but he was going to. I am not involved with the so called kennel or the dogs and rarely get involved in selling or buying any dogs .I do not go to dog shows or events. He could not deliver the dog due to a health issue which still prevents him from doing so. She never wanted to bother to come for the dog. We had to hire someone to try to get her the dog at the show but she was unwilling to pay for that. We were not planning to be in the area where the show was and she was not willing to pay the added expense the gas would be.After our phone call, I do not trust her to come to our house...she is not the kind of person I would want our dogs to be with. Calling every cop and animal control over nothing shows what I mean. My husband did not tell me to talk to her, I answered the phone and I was tired of her..She has been insulting my husband since the beginning so I told her our side of it but she doesn't grasp anything you tell her. I did not have the time to listen to her nasty comments. The point was it was not good for us or for our dog and we had just decided there was no hope to make a deal. We had several chances to sell this dog so the fact she was unwilling to take her money back cost him a good home. We don't want her or her money in our life but she is into causing trouble and keeping this going.I did tell her she was the B word and again calling people shows that. The lady has never been on our property or seen our dogs so calling animal control is being more than nasty. My husband did not tell me to write this and he has not seen it. May someone sell this lady a dog and may she be happy and move on...PS He was going to send her money back even though she broke the contract, but he just hadn't had the time....

If you do not want anything I do with me or my money then why don't you send it back? I even offered to take payments and I would not involve the authorities if you hadn't gotten on the phone and cussed and ranted at me like a lunatic. I have your very snide voicemail and all of the emails to prove everything that has been stated on this posting. I tried to be understanding about your husbands medical issues, but we had already agreed upon a price, including delivery. Also, I never even got the chance to say ANYTHING to you on the phone because you cut me off every time I tried to. You have been completely irrational and unreasonable and it is not about the money anymore. I would never keep someone's deposit and refuse to sell the dog and I have offered to come pick him up. And I already have bought another male that I am EXTREMELY happy with, so just give me my money back or let me come get the dog. That is all I'm asking.

And just to set the story straight, I did not break the contract, they did, and I tried to be understanding about it, but another delivery method was NEVER agreed upon.

I have known BOB for years now and I have sent him customers. I would not hesitate to send  him any referrals.

I have talked to him for years and I do know others who have bought pups and grown dogs from him

BOB has been a long time member here.. IT is always hard to please people when you are in the dog world. Sorry but I know there are three sides to any disgruntled claim.

GOOD Luck  Q man

I had to log in and POST for this man I consider a friend in dog world.

I was not there so anything else can be settled by both. I also know assuredly that Bob uses good judgement and he does  not need anyone's $200.00

Also OP might note immaturity of calling someone a CROOK on a public forum..
There are rules about that kind of accusation. IT comes with a SLANDER claus in a court of Law.

We have had difficulty with this lady and she can write anything she wants, most of it is not true. The people who know us and have dealt with us know, and if you put yourselves in a position of findng your dogs a good home, you would read between her lines and  understand who is basically at fault .I am not going to answer on here again because it is not worth it and I was not involved.I would not have sold her a dog. My only interest is due to my taking care of this boy as a puppy which included many interrupted  nights of sleep. After all the aggravation she has put us through and the harassment and slander, she owes us way more than a mere $200 but that is my opinion. She is not dealing with me and I am not the one with her money. I will not be the one refunding or not refunding and I am not going to advise my husband so keeping this will not be of any value. I do not own the dog and I only say "WE" because I am married to the one she is bad mouthing.

Deposits are made to hold a dog - while the dog is being "held" other potential buyers are turned away - when the deal falls through or the buyer changes their mind, or delivery (which is normally the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller) is not arranged - then the deposit is not normally returned.   Unless the seller decides to return it out of the goodness of his heart - if the buyer becomes difficult, wastes your time and creates a hassle with threats and poor behavior - then the seller would  have a good reason not to feel like returning a non-refundable deposit.  Apparently the deposit was only $200?  a very reasonable and normal amount for a non-refundable deposit.  This breeder/seller has done nothing wrong.   Time to move on and stop bashing the breeder/seller on this public forum.
