JonRob, you can't get blood from a rock. What good does suing someone who doesn't have a pot to piss in anyway do? It would cost me money and time...time away from work, my son, my dogs, my horses...things my time is better spent on. They will still be trash at the end of the day. Yes, they're lucky I didn't sue for a lot of things, but it's just not worth my time. The part I cared about was already taken care of, safe and sound. 

Destiny, it was a vengeance thing after proving something they had been trying to deny. 

The way these situations get so far out of hand just baffles me. Can't people just work things out privately and take personal responsibilty for ANYTHING anymore?? I can't stand when people cry to a message board if someone looks at them crosseyed. The boards have their place in resolution, but as a first avenue? Sorry, but I think it's very tacky. 

There is absolutely nothing illegal about calling animal control to inquire about someone. I did not file any type of illegal report and the police informed me that this was not a matter for animal control and that they would take care of this situation. I never blackmailed anyone by stating I would call animal control. I was not threatening to make any type of false report. It is not illegal to gather knowledge about a breeder and whether there have been reports of animal cruelty made about them. ANYONE can and should do this if they are buying from someone that seems less than honest with them. Again, I have not contacted animal control in their area, but I do have the right to inquire if they have any reports against them with animal control. I NEVER THREATENED TO REPORT THEM TO ANIMAL CONTROL.

According to your earlier posts, you didn't just threaten to do it, you actually did it and did so falsely. You keep changing your story and your stories contradict each other. They can't all be true.

I didn't see your emails with the breeder or hear your conversations with the breeder but I did read what you posted here. That tells me what I need to know about your character.

Jenni, I get it that a lawsuit would be a pain and you wouldn't get any money out of the trash who filed the false report against with animal control. Also that they would still be trash if they were sued. But they would also be trash that learned that bad behavior has bad consequences. Going to court is no fun. And they would probably think twice about pulling a stunt like that again. I would have at least raised holy hell about filing criminal charges against them for knowingly making a false report. I understand it seems like more trouble than it's worth.

But here's the deal. If someone had kicked their asses for pulling sh*t like that, it would have taken the fun right out of it and they might have thought twice about lying to animal control about you. If someone breaks into your neighbor's car, steals it, gets caught a block away, and the neighbor says, no problem, got the car back, let the thief go, are you OK with that? Especially if the thief then steals your car and you never get it back? Not saying what you should have done because that's a decision you have to make and taking action against trash is a pain. So it had to be your call. Just explaining why I have and will continue to kick asses when people try to screw me over. It not only helps me it helps others who might otherwise get screwed. But I understand it was more trouble than it was worth to you. So I'm not arguing with how you handled it.

Anyway I don't post much and I'm done with this one unless something spectacular comes up. My dog is waiting for his walk and it's a beautiful day. After reading the posts by khlewis I sure could use some fresh air.

Obviously you did not take the time to read my posts. Calling animal control to verify that you are not dealing with someone that has previous reports of animal cruelty or neglect is completely different then REPORTING them to animal control for anything. I have done neither, though I had every intention of calling for information from animal control, the authorities here have told me that it is not necessary and that they will look into any previous incidences these people have had.

supak why should they? the like admin said this is not always a happy happy joy joy forum.  The op was not getting anywhere in real life this breeder is a head case as well hiding under their bed with 200  lol. I guess they really need the xmas money. This year I could really use an extra 200 as well. Anyone want to give me.

I woke up Saturday morning and over a cup of coffee I began reading to my astonishment a brow beating of a man I got to know just a short year or so ago.  This is a man that loves his dogs more than anybody I know and is very knowledgeable. He travels with them wherever he goes and is very particular of who he sells too. I once got totally screwed from a broker in Kansas and I mean totally and set me back a year in my plans. I could have come to this forum and slammed this guy and his company but I chose not to because I am just contributing to the problem and not trying to solve it.There was this man ( a total stranger) that went out of his way to help me in every way imaginable and I know he has helped many here on this forum as well and I bet he didn’t ask a penny of you.  So, for someone to make some remarks that I have read here is disgusting. You have people that solve problems and you have people that just talk about the problem……I ask you…which one would you want working for you?  Mr. Kress is a good man and yes I know what happened for the most part because I was with him at the time he was supposed to deliver the dog and he was doing it at a very good price….totally benefiting the buyer.  Mr. Kress was going to deliver the dog in his trailer and also bring a couple of his dogs with him as well because he cannot stand to not be around his dogs. About a week or so before the Nationals he told me of the health issue and that he would not be able to drive down. Guess what….his mind was more pre-occupied with wanting to deliver the dog then his health! We talked and he was networking trying to get this dog delivered……I came very close to driving form Tennessee to his state just to help him out because he had helped me so much and never has asked for a penny.
 
Mr. Kress is a good man of integrity and I would be pissed also knowing what I know. I cannot even begin to go through all the details of it all.  At the end of the day I feel all this will come to finalization in an amicable fashion.  As a final note…..I want to thank Mr. Kress and his wife for all they have done for me and I am deeply indebted to them. They are good people…..let this thread die off and lets get back to more constructive threads which we all can feed off of and benefit us and beloved german shepherd dogs.

I do not know of any Honest person who keeps other people's Money. If the dog was not sold to the buyer, why would you keep the deposit ?? No time to send it back ?? Really ?? You can make up all kinds of excuses , the bottom line is the seller has the dog & deposit, how is this honesty ??
