Dumb question of the day.. what is the meaning of the groups listed in a dogs work test results? I originally assumed it was their physical grading e.g. V, SG etc but why do some change from SG to V and then back again? see www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/3291.html

And in addition to the obvious ones I've also seen  B see www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/25908.html

Ah ha! after looking a little deeper I'm thinking these groups are nothing to do with their physical grading but their work grading with repect to points gained i.e. V is 285 and above, SG 270 to 285 & G 240 to 270.

Doh! told you it was a dumb question & I don't know why that wasn't obvious before. Hey ho you learn something new everyday.
