3 people i hate in SchH - Page 1

1. The self appointed TD. I hate the person that feels like it is their duty to "help" everyone without being asked. 2. The untitled know it all. The person has never titled a dog, but believes they are the s#!+. The only time I like em is when the "Newbies" cling to them looking for answers. This is the type of person who's dog just ran the worst track you've ever seen, then proceeds telling the new guy what he needs to do with his dog. 3. The seminar "phase" trainer. This person believes and follows everything told at a seminar. I'm not saying that seminars are bad and they aren't beneficial, but if you spend every single day with your dog and some stranger knows your dog better than you in a day, then you might be a #2. No pun intended. This person will follow everything told until they go to the next seminar and totally follow this person. Screw it, as a bonus: 4. The combo! This person is all the above.

Rough day Don?  Go read JustK9s and maybe the cuteness will make you feel better. 

Add #5. People that think milk on a puppies face is cute. Just kidding. Yeah, rough month.

Ouch!  LOL.  Sorry it's been rough...I can relate to the original post though.  I try really hard not to be any of the above but I'm sure at one point or another, I've been a thorn in someone's behind.  Hope things start looking up for you.

What about the person who chases off all prosepective newbies and people there to learn about the sport with their dog by telling them everything must be done THEIR way or you absolutely cannot do schutzhund and you will wreck your dog forever. No, your 10 year old can absolutely never ever play ball with the puppy in the yard or you will will RUIN IT! No, you can never ever stop your puppy from jumping on your 80 year old neighbor or you will RUIN IT! No, if you try to stop your obnoxious 11 month old unneutered male from going apeshit every time it sees your cat you will RUIN IT!

KC, are you sure that's not a #2? Because the only way this person knows how to do it is their way and it can not be done another way because it is too hard and they don't know how to do it.

The person I hate is the male shovinest pigs or the "good old boy"  that think because you are female you don't know how to train your dog.  They pat you on the head and call you "little lady" and give credit for all the training on your dog to somebody else that might "have" helped you.....  cause you sure couldn't have done it yourself...

Yeah, I hate women who think they know how to train. About all they do well is cutting up tracking bait and cooking for the trials. Oh, and once in a while they are needed to sew a pair of scratch pants.
