Keeping it as simple as we can...

To answer the question on "Why not Schutzhund" on the dam, the availability of clubs in the geography wasn't there, so she's training in Mondio and currently working on her MR2 while repeating MR1's to get better at it.

The sire should be well known...

Oh!  And we've tried to make this breeding happen logistically, but with trials in FCI Finland and the girl working on her titles, it's not been easy to get them together.

Thoughts?

Pedigree is only part of the equation.  Its more impressive to see what mamma and pappa bring to the game.

Found pappa at a trial, very nice show,

Nothing for mama as for video.  Mama is titled in Mondio.  This is more important than Schutzhund in my opinion. Mondio and Ring sports, also KNPV are more akin to what a dog would encounter in Police K9 work (the ultimate in performance, IMHO).

Old school line breeding on Troll.  Tiekerhook does this expertly.

Thank You for breeding based on performance.

Very very interesting pedigree, as I looked deeper into it I saw a lot of things I liked if I was looking for a working dog from a genetic point of view. Also saw no red flags that would turn me away....of course I like first hand knowledge on parents also...Good Luck!

I will try to post videos of the mamma's Mondio Ring trial.  She has a natural attentive heel, tons of attachment to her handler/owner, and very striking markings.  I wanted to get your first impressions simply on the pedigree alone.

Bernhard Flinks saw the brother and was very impressed, saying he wanted him as his personal patrol dog, though he wasn't for sale.  When we mentioned the sister was the better dog, he dismissed us and said you couldn't get a  better dog out of the litter.  When we brought her out to work with him as a 6 month old puppy, he went on to work her for ...ummm...almost 2 hours, and he was struck at her own change in drive from prey to defense to prey in a natural and strong way.  He felt he could take her to the world championship and win, and offered a blank check at the time. :)

Of course, we're not expert trainers - and we couldn't sell either of the dogs, but we feel they're now ready for breeding....

If Flinks likes her that's good enough for me.  Looking forward to the update and working video.
