What would a fair price be for this breeding? Zico von der Adelegg x Danie v. Hoferkopftrum? Any ideas.....
Thanks!

that breeding has been dog before(2009),i couldn't find the bitches ped, however after i googled "zico" i found a site that listed that very same breeding....i'll assume that ZICO'S stock has gone up with such a nice showing at the"BSP"(2 PLACE)...as to a fair price,i guess "fair" is what you're satisified with paying and how badly you want a well bred working prospect...ask around, there are "ZICO" progeny here in the states, maybe someone will clue you in...

Here is a link on the female http://www.working-dog.eu/dogs-details/236122/Danie-vom-Hoferkopfturm if that may help in generating a thought. Would anyone who has a Zico dog automatically chime in our would it need to be a new thread?

See what he does at the WUSV if he goes, or you can take a punt and do a deal before hand , if he does well at the worlds then you will be a happy person

both dogs have low"ZW" ,always a plus(but not a garuntee).....getting a pup from well bred, proven dogs tends to be costly.....as for ZICO doing well at the WUSV...every dog has his day, maybe that will be his "day",or maybe it won't.he did well in his region and kicked booty at the BSP! i'm not a professional breeder or competitor, and my comments are based on the info and video provided on the internet and conversations with knowledgeable people i know and trust who know of or have bred to that particular dog.....so, what happens when a dog of this caliber(good nerve base, suitable drives) comes along....concentrated enhancement of drives at an early age, correct training, enviromental stability enrichment, and there you have it,high-level sport dog!but to return to topic....how much money is fair?....i'd say be prepared to pay 1500.00 plus for a pup.good luck.

I mentioned it somewhere else but i paid 800 euros for Gina daughter of Javir Talka Marda when he was mated to a full sister to Como vom Bonuaer Wald 7th WUSV 2009 and Izzy's father
Javir has already won the BSP and top in the WUSV placings so that is a good guide for you to go on,
800euros is around 1100 USA dollars and Gina will be a very good ScH prospect now 6 months old and a Fireball

I was satisfied by the fact that the dam is a SCHIII and I thought her (Danie) pedigree is a nice compliment to the sire (Zico). Or am I reading it wrong? It seems that around $1,000-$1,500 to be in the ballpark as fair with that pedigree?

@Steve no, I did mispell it in the heading of the thread. I am unsure of how to correct it and then later in the post I spelled it wrong again....it is my fault. Here is the link to the some info on her http://www.working-dog.eu/dogs-details/236122/Danie-vom-Hoferkopfturm I cut and pasted so I know it works. :)
