Can anyone tell me the best age to x-ray hips to determine any problems? I've read some threads that seem to show huge changes from puppy to full grown. Mine is only 8 months now and doesn't have any problems with hips, just wondering.

You can get the preliminary x rays anywhere bewteen 6 months to 1year. If they are not good they dont get better but they may look good in the early stages but later may get worse. So, getting a prelims x-ray is better so if they are not good you may stop investing on the dog.
