Hex is no ordinary German Shepherd Dog. He has won the USA National
Tracking Championship 2 yrs in a row. Placing 2nd last year and has been
an INTERNATIONAL competitor representing the USA in world events.
HEX is a beloved Govednik Family Member who wants to home.

I am heartbroken for Al and his family. Thousands of people are on the lookout for Hex. His story is on TV, all over FB, local and not-so-local news media, his fliers plastered far and wide, even in car windows, vets, police, fire, postal workers, boy scouts, shelters all on the lookout for Al's dog... and not one live lead to date.

I've been thinking about this. This had to be someone who knew of Hex's accomplishments and who knew Al's routine. Are they checking airports? I'm wondering if this dog had a buyer before it was picked up, and if it is out of the U.S.

That is shocking. There is nothing lower than staeling a beloved dog from a family. I wish you the best in recovering him.
