for me..it all boils down to personal preferance.schutzhund sport,psa,sda,akc,ukc...the dog has to be trained to participate. there are great breedings going on all over the USA and elsewhere, people have access to info on great dogs that produce the necessary drives to excell at any "dogsport".look at what's offered in "schutzhund"(o/b 1,2,3)(tr-1,2,3)(fh) and(rh).....no bites!perfect titles for any breed, then there's AKC/UKC obedience and also the "CANINE GOOD CITIZEN",to me this shows the dog's will and affinity to work as a team with the handler.there are some great dogs here in the USA, with the wealth of info available to just about anyone with access to the internet...these great pups are easy to find and would be likely candidates for any type of dogsport...hey...mals do well as "dockdogs".....as an answer to your question"what titles necessary to breed"....any title that satisfied me that the dog in question is a willing participant, enjoys the work, and is stable and confident in everyday situations...i'd buy a pup from a combination like that without any titles,if i had intimate knowledge of both parents....no titles, not a "deal breaker" for me.

Of all the titles I think I'd be happy to settle for "Your Majesty" now that being a divorcee doesn't rule me out, but I think he is already taken.

LOL Margaret :D

I think titles tell more about the trainer than the dog.

I would say the more titles the better, but they are not the end all, some untitled dogs have better temperments than some titled dogs, there are many people with great dogs that because perhaps of time or money or other reasons are not able to put titles on the dogs, not everyone lives 10 minutes from a Sch club but it would be nice if we all did or a AKC ob. group or club.
