It is the middle of the night and I am awake and so excited! My little girl is having puppies!!!!

She just had number 5! It seems kind of funny that so far it has gone boy, girl, boy, girl, boy. But now that I have said something, the next one is bound to be a boy....

I will post their pictures once she is all done :)
We now have the eight that the vet counted. But he said that he thought that he could possibly make out another two hiding.
So far we have 4 boys and 4 girls; 1 lighter sable, 1 reddish sable, 1 black and 5 such a dark sable that it was almost impossible to tell the difference from the black!
Mason is being a great momma so far and all of the puppies are nursing off and on :)
With as excited as I am, my heart is still breaking reading the other post about the puppies dying and another older GSD looking for yet another home :(

We welcomed 9 new puppies during the night :)
The final counts are as follows:
5 sable boys
3 sable girls
1 black girl

(I have pics, but the files are too big???)

i could n ever figure out how to make the files smaller so i put them on imageshack.us and then resave them to my harddrive and they work on the database XD
