I have a female who is AKC registered that just finished her titles/ Korr in Germany. I was thinking of breeding her with a German Stud. I was wondering is the paper work is it difficult to register the litter here in the US? thank you

no, be sure to get a stud certificate from the owner of the male, it is in German and English, then there should be no problem

congratulations on KKL and everything that goes with it. Most likely you are a member of the many local clubs the breed warden will assist you. Most likely he/she has some blank forms there, also your breed warden may assist you on the selection for a stud, they openly share info on what to watch for in certain lines ec. We are retired Military , we used to breed our dogs while stationed in Germany had no problems.

you get it from the owner of the male when you use him, you are the breeder of the upcoming litter so your information is entered as the owner of the female, it is included in the price of the stud service, if you have any additional questions you can pm or email to me bea

The stud certificate of mating is called a DeckKarte. if the male has not had offspring yet registered with the AKC, then the Deckkarte must go to the SV for them to add a 3 generatin pedgree of the sire to the back and stamp it with their seal. Many popular dogs already have offspring registered here (USA) with the AKC, and for those dogs no 3 geneation pedigree of the stud is needed.
