New Pup Hektor Pic's - Page 1

Monday afternoon i drove to the Bavarian part of Germany to pick up New Pup Hektor about 500 miles each way, We had to take the other two dogs with us in the Dog Trailer so that meant stopping three times to let them do there business and have a drink. about 40 miles from the breeders we got a puncture in the Dog Trailer out in the wilds hardly any houses not that at 4 o'clock in the morning we could knock them up. So we drove on to the breeders with a nearly flat tyre. it took us till 6 in the morning to reach him. He got the Puncture repaired local and at 8.40 that morning we set off back to Belgium with Hektor, a Hot day and several stops for the Dogs we arrived home at 6.30 in the evening so a non stop run of a 1000 miles with a two hour break or so and over a 100 miles of roadworks
Hektor cried a little and slept on the way home but was very good in the car. When we got home i intended to let him sleep in my bedroom in his carry box for a few days and let him go outdoors during the daytime but could not get the damn thing through the bedroom door upstairs being concertina doors, So he had to go straight outside in his Kennel and run and i expected trouble
However after feeding him a little soaked food he cried for 10 minutes then was quiet, Later on about 9.30 i gave him a little more soaked food but before i fed him i put a few treats near his kennel and inside to his basket where he was to sleep on a towel. I thought he may cry
So a Shower and off to bed for an early night, I never heard a sound all night this morning he had the towel outside in his pen sitting on it, Today i took him to the vets for a check up The Vet is a German Shepherd Person and he competes in the ScH sport, We were there talking Hektor was laying on the table fast asleep i wished i had a camera, today he has hardly made a sound just a whine when we took the other dogs out for a walk, He is such a laid back puppy, nothing bothers him and he seems to take everything in a calm manner, Yes, i am very pleased with him
This afternoon i took these Pic's he has settled down so fast. it is good to see that in a Pup below are some pic's i took this afternoon of 8.5 week old Hektor
